John Papadonis is a distinguished figure in science education. John's extensive professional journey includes founding and directing the Burlington Science Center within the Burlington Public Schools, where he spearheaded innovative K-8 science education initiatives for nearly three decades. His contributions extend beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his roles as a reviewer and consultant for McGraw-Hill Publishers, an instructor at the New England Aquarium's Teacher Resource Center, and a visiting professor at Eastern Nazarene College.

Committed to advancing science education, John continues to serve as a science education consultant, delivering impactful professional development sessions focused on aligning with and understanding the Massachusetts Science and Engineering/Technology Standards. John's dedication to excellence has earned him prestigious accolades, including induction into the MA Science Educator's Hall of Fame and recognition as a finalist for the Massachusetts Teacher of the Year award.
