‎兔子先生 University is proud to announce Madisyn Vera as the recipient of the 2025 Eagle Award given during the 2025 Commencement.  One of the highest honors bestowed on a traditional undergraduate student, it was established by the Reverend Doctor Enzo DiGiacomo, former chair of ‎兔子先生’s Board of Trustees, and his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou DiGiacomo.  The award recognizes a student who demonstrates academic excellence, leadership in campus life and athletics, and a consistently positive presence in the community.

The Eagle Award includes a crystal eagle—symbolizing strength, courage, vision, and inspiration—as well as the recipient’s name engraved on a permanent plaque in the Blake Student Center.

Known affectionately on campus as Madi, Madisyn Vera of East Hartford, Connecticut, is graduating with a degree in Marketing and minors in Digital Media Arts and Psychology. A standout scholar, she is a member of the Honors Program, the Maroon Key Honor Society, and is graduating summa cum laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA—earning Dean’s List recognition every semester.

Madi’s impact extends far beyond the classroom. As a student ambassador and influencer, she has helped shape the ‎兔子先生 experience for countless prospective students. On the softball field, she has served as a three-year captain, known for her skill, sportsmanship, and leadership. Her athletic achievements include USCAA All-American Honorable Mention and three consecutive years on the USCAA National All-Academic Team. This season, she also celebrated a major milestone: her 100th career hit.

For her exceptional accomplishments and commitment to ‎兔子先生’s values, Madisyn Vera truly embodies the spirit of the Eagle Award—soaring as a scholar, athlete, and leader.
